How often should I weigh myself?


It is very normal for weight to fluctuate from day to day today, anywhere from 1-5 pounds, and sometimes even more. To help with this, the most accurate way to know your "true" weight is to weigh yourself daily to create weight trends that can be reviewed during your weekly check-in. Have a week where daily weigh-ins are not possible? That is okay! If you can only get 3 weights for the week, that will be better than just 1 at your check-in.

When should I weigh myself?

For consistency, we recommend your daily weigh-in to be first thing in the morning, after using the restroom, at roughly the same time of day.

How to add weight

There are a few places to enter your weight within the app:

  • Tap the floating menu button in the bottom right corner on the diary tab and select "add weight."

  • Tap on the "add weight" button on the coach tab.

  • Integrate Apple Health with Carbon to automatically pull your weight.

  • Tap on the gray circular icon in the top right corner of the me tab weight graph.
