What are macronutrients?

Macronutrients (or macros as they are commonly referred to) are the big three nutrients - protein, carbs, and fat - that your body needs to function and thrive.

How do I track macros?

Tracking macros means keeping track of how much carbs, protein, and fat you eat every day. By using a food scale alongside the Carbon app barcode scanner and search function, users can easily track their daily macros within their diary. Can’t find a food in the app but have the label? Easily create a food or quick add the food to your diary and it will be saved for your future use.

Why is tracking macros important?

Tracking macros help you achieve your chosen goal by ensuring you are consistently eating adequate protein to support lean tissue, meeting overall calorie targets, and are compliant week to week.
