What is compliance?

Compliance is the term we use to describe how well you follow the app's suggestions for your daily calorie and macronutrient intake. The app calculates these values based on your personal profile, your goal, and your progress. By meeting your calorie and macronutrient targets, you are making sure that you are on the right path to reaching your goal in a sustainable and healthy way.

Do I need to meet all my targets?

Carbon considers compliance to be meeting at least your protein target minimum, and your overall calories, as provided by the app. Goal achievement does not appear to be limited by dietary preference after protein and calories are equated, so if your carbs and fats are a little off but you are meeting your calories and protein you will be considered compliant. Users can view their compliance in real-time on their Coach tab on the Compliance card.
