Favoriting food items in the Carbon Diet Coach app makes it quick and easy to log your favorite meals and snacks! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you favorite food items from various sections of the app:
From a Food Search
Tap the + Icon: Next to your meal, tap the + icon to add a food item.
Search for the Item: Type the name of the food item you’d like to favorite in the search bar.
View the Chosen Food: Tap on the food item from the search results.
Favorite the Food: Tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, then select Add to Favorites.
From Recent Foods
Tap the + Icon: Next to your meal, tap the + icon to add a food item.
Review Recent Foods: Scroll through your recent foods to find the item you’d like to favorite.
View the Chosen Food: Tap on the food item from your recent foods list.
Favorite the Food: Tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, then select Add to Favorites.
From Meals Already Entered
Access Your Diary Page: On your diary page, locate the meal with the food you’d like to favorite.
Select the Food Item: Tap on the food item you want to favorite.
Favorite the Food: Tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, then select Add to Favorites.
Where to Find Your Favorited Foods
Favorited foods will populate at the top of your searches and will also be present in your My Foods list. You can access My Foods by:
Tapping the floating menu on the diary page and then selecting My Foods.
Tapping the + icon next to a meal to bring up the food search and selecting the My Foods tab.
